INPO2012
Happy New Year, everyone!
The footage is safely in Terry’s capable hands for the edit, and if the stars align we are hoping for a festival premiere early fall, 2012.
Attempting to teach myself how to navigate Final Cut (just for fun, with the backup footage) has given me a whole new level of respect for the editing and post production process… another entire beast on it’s...

AND THAT'S A WRAP
There will be lots more posts, updates and photos to come. But for now, all I have to say is thank you.
Thank you to Terry, for taking this on and making it a reality for me, and directing the hell out of it.
Thank you to my co-producers, Casey and Michelle, for convincing me I couldn’t do everything on my own (which, as it turns out, COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE TRUE) and being the...
DAY ELEVEN!
Byron and Anna rigging some sort of crazy sun flagging situation.
And also, a magical branch that looks oddly like an arrow pointed at Casey’s head.
Day eleven and going strong! Looking forward to the next three nights- filming some awesome dinner party action with Sonja, Stephen, and Ben.

Sonja and Stephen are too awesome.
I had a moment today, looking around at the amazing people around me working on this film, where I thought “wow. this is actually happening”. And it is.
The dream team includes:
Terry Miles: The boss of me. And, let’s be honest, the only reason I am even attempting such madness.
Byron Lamarque: DOP, everything camera, and other boss...

CASTING!
I am really REALLY excited for this part. Casting is getting underway, with the help of fantastic Vancouver casting director Maureen Webb. I can’t wait to see these characters become real faces.
In other news, am still looking for a few key locations. A mid-sized house/townhouse/large suite, and a restaurant for a wedding reception scene.
Crew is coming together, am still on the hunt...
filmmakers must be crazy. for real.
I have come to the conclusion that anyone who decides they want to make a film is certifiably crazy. And I am very happy to include myself in that strange group.
At every turn, there has been someone or something that proves to me I’m making the right choice, as crazy (as previously mentioned) that it is.
So much support, from so many angles.
And hey, it’s my birthday...
WEEK FOUR!
THE PICTURE TAKER
Final answer is….
THE CANON 7D.
This sexy little machine will be responsible for capturing my first film.
Have found some key crew members, and the focus for this month will be on finalizing locations and cast.
Oh, and the fundraising continues HERE. :)

LIGHTS, CAMERA...
Now that the fundraising campaign has been launched, it’s time to find my team. Finding the right people to be involved in this journey with me is so important… The cast and crew are everything. I’m so lucky to have the people I do on board already, and I can’t wait to see who else shows up to play. The crew will be small, the equipment minimal, and the cast a...

WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?
In No Particular Order is a film that explores the difficulties of modern relationships, and the conflicting views surrounding sex, love, monogamy, and marriage. The film follows self-destructive Sarah, as she messily navigates her way through her late twenties, following a path of meaningless encounters, hangovers, and unmet expectations. Under pressure from her newlywed sister to get her...

If anyone has suggestions, please forward them along to...
setting up shop
This will be the official production blog for my upcoming feature film, In No Particular Order. I am going to try and keep this updated throughout the entire process of making the film. (honestly!)
The plan is to shoot fall 2011, in Vancouver, BC, with a small crew, minimal equipment/lighting, and some amazing actors. This will be the first project that I have written myself, and will be...
