Happy New Year, everyone!
The footage is safely in Terry’s capable hands for the edit, and if the stars align we are hoping for a festival premiere early fall, 2012.
Attempting to teach myself how to navigate Final Cut (just for fun, with the backup footage) has given me a whole new level of respect for the editing and post production process… another entire beast on it’s own. Especially when you are dealing in the very low (no) budget realm. Plan is to apply for some post-production funding to help finish this baby.
Regardless, I am so happy to be starting the year with footage from a fully shot feature film resting in a little harddrive on my desk, and am reminded of how hard everyone worked every time I watch it.
Still holding my breath for the phone call from Terry where all he says is “Um- that scene’s gonna need a re-shoot”. :)
